Agnes is an award winning jewellery designer and maker working in Birmingham's historic Jewellery Quarter, who has exhibited nationally. Originally from Poland, Agnes is a graduate of The Academy of Fine Arts in Gdansk, where she completed an MA Industrial Design course with the Master Thesis in jewellery.
Agnes decided to specialise in jewellery because this enabled her to explore the relationship of all the art disciplines such as painting, sculpture, photography and graphic design in a small scale using a combination of traditional techniques such as wax carving alongside contemporary techniques such as rapid prototyping. This exploration is particularly demonstrated in her Architectural range of jewellery.
Agnes has taught at the prestigious School of Jewellery, Birmingham City University BCU as part of her Artist in Residency appointment and as a Visiting Lecturer.
