Course Information
For the most authentic experience we will arrange your course at at the tutors workshop or studio, as near to your area as possible, but your course locations is dependent on where your tutor's workshop is located.
Course are available in Birmingham's Jewellery Quarter.
Materials
You will be creating a piece of jewellery based on your own design therefore each students pays the tutor directly for the silver sheet they use.
Tools
The tutor will provide tools and equipment.
Day timetable
Your course starts at 9.30am however this can be slightly flexible to fit in with your travel arrangements.
You will break for lunch for about 35 minutes. Lunch is not provided so I suggest you bring a packed lunch.
Your tuition time is 6 hours.
Safety
Your safety is of paramount importance, you will be working in a trade environment which will contain equipment, sharp tools and be dusty.
All your activities are risk assessed for the workshop environment and your tutor will advise you of all appropriate safety measures when you arrive and provide safety wear if appropriate to your activity.
What to bring
It's a good idea to bring an apron or wear old clothes and wear flat shoes if possible.
If you wear reading glasses you should bring them.
