All tutors work are professional Gemmologists or Gemmology Trade Experts who are willing to share their expertise and trade secrets with you.
Course Description
A fun and fascinating day of discovery about Diamonds and Gemstones.
With step-buy-step guidance you'll handle and view a selection of stones through standard gemmology kit and learn fascinating facts about the world of Gemmology from an experienced Gemmologist.
​This course will not make a Gemmologist of you in a day however it has been designed to introduce you to the basics of Gemmology, and be an enjoyable and fascinating overview for suitable for Gemstone Enthusiasts or Jewellery Making Beginners.
No previous gemmology experience is required.

​​Basic identification methods to recognise the difference between natural, synthetic and imitation stones.
You may ask for a particular Gemstone to be included in the course day tuition if you wish.

About the Course Fee
A large portion of the course fee quoted is paid to the tutor. because, it’s their experience and expertise that you are paying for.
In addition a there is a small fee for arranging your course which is included in the total course fee.

Because the course fee is mainly determined by each individual tutor's day rate for teaching or sometimes the course location.

Payment terms
Payment is required in advance and payments are handled safely and securely by PayPal or BACS invoicing.
Booking Terms

Once you have booked a cancellation fee of £65 will be deducted from your refund if you cancel your course up to and including 14 days prior to the start of the course once your payment has been received.

Cancellations received within 14 days of the course date are not eligible for a refund, however you may re-arrange your course for another date if you wish.

Should I need to cancel your course due to unforeseen circumstances I will refund your course fee in full.
