About

Richard is a highly experienced Goldsmith with over 30 years trade experience who uses traditional heritage Jewellery skills,  working at the Bench where he creates exquisite works in all precious metals; Silver, Gold and Platinum, using gemstones

 

Richard was until recently chief Goldsmith at award winning Harriet Kelsall Jewellery for over 20 years, and he now runs his own Jewellery business.

He is a highly experienced tutor, and successful consultant in the Jewellery Industry including working with Goldsmiths for their Mentoring and  Apprenticeships scheme because of his depth of expertise and experience covering a wide variety of industry techniques. 

 

He enjoys teaching and sharing his skills on a one-to-one basis in his Essex studio when commission and restoration project commitments permit.
