Katherine is a highly experienced, successful jeweller and silversmith who has worked in the Jewellery Industry as a Designer and Maker for over 20 years'. She is a graduate of the Glasgow School of Art and the Royal College of Art in London, her work is exhibited nationally and she is a member of Centrepiece and well known Birmingham Jewellery Quarter collective of Jewellers.

Although Katherine originally worked in 18ct gold and silver her style of jewellery had a particular resonance to Keum Boo, which is the traditional Korean Art of fusing gold foil onto silver.

Katherine has spent several years developing and perfecting this particular technique, learning Keum Boo techniques from award winning Korean jeweller Kye-Yeon Son many years ago, and Katherine's  exquisite exceptionally finished work demonstrates the technique perfectly.

Katherine is also a very experienced jewellery tutor, who has taught at Jewellery techniques at all levels for many years, including at the prestigious BCU School of Jewellery in Birmingham amongst others.
