Young Jewellery Genius?
Creativity is not defined by age!
This jewellery skills course has been specially designed to give an exciting opportunity for young makers. This 1-day course of private tuition will provide invaluable insight, by demonstrating the creative thoughts, actions and skills required to make a piece of jewellery.
With step-by-step tutor guidance you will review your pre-prepared simplistic ideas/designs for a piece of jewellery in silver and decide which is the most feasible to make in the time permitted.
Your design will then be the foundation for creating by using a selection of traditional tools and techniques such as filing, sawing and soldering. You may also bring along found objects or other materials to add in additional interest to your chosen jewellery design.
The course takes place in the tutor’s traditional Jewellers workshop where tools and equipment are available for use.
This course requires that you bring along an adult to take part or simply observe.
NOTE: Materials (Silver) is not included in the course fee, because the amount required depends on the design you choose to make, you therefore pay the tutor directly at the end of the course.
All tutors work as professional jewellers, Goldsmiths, Designers or are Jewellery Industry specialists who are willing to share their expertise and trade secrets with you.
