Exploring Advanced Enamelling Techniques
Use this 1-day course as a starting point to learn more a more about ONE advanced technique such as:
Suitable for those who have already mastered the basic techniques of Enamelling.
Torch Fired Enamelling Basics
Using Wet or Liquid Enamel
Painting with Enamel (Limoge style)
Enamel Bead Making
Using Gold or Silver Foil with Enamels
Alternatively get one-to-one help with troublesome enamelling technical issues.
Enamel is provided but sheet metals are not, YOU MUST bring your own metal (Silver or Gold).
For sample work the tutor will advise prior to the course exactly what sheet and/or wire you need to bring.

If technically feasible you may bring your own work samples to work on.
Students can only enamel on their own jewellery pieces if they have been soldered with adequate amounts of hard solder
* Easy and medium solder will not hold up in the kiln, therefore it is always best to consult with the tutor beforehand regarding the suitability of your design for Enamelling during the course.
It is best to design and make a piece with enamelling in mind.

About the Course Fee
A large portion of the course fee quoted is paid to the tutor. because, it’s their experience and expertise that you are paying for.
In addition a there is a small fee for arranging your course which is included in the total course fee.
Vat is not applicable

Why are course fee's different?
Because the course fee is mainly determined by each individual tutor's day rate.
About the Materials
Precious Metals es cannot be included in course fees.
This is because Bespoke Courses are tailored to suit individual makers needs and their work.
Therefore you MUST bring your own sheet and wire (Silver or Gold) to work on for sample work.
For Troubleshooting & Tips of the Trade you may bring your own sacrificial pieces to work on - subject to technical feasibility / tutor agreement.

Courses are individually tailored to suit your skill level and requirements wherever technically possible and feasible in the time allowed on the day of your course, as determined by the tutor.
When making a course enquiry please provide as much information as you can about what you want to acheive on your course.
All your information will better prepare the tutor so that you can obtain the best possible course experience.
How to Book
Choose your date
Decide when you might like your course to take place then "Make a Course Enquiry" and advise your details on the form provided.
Payment is required in advance and payments are handled safely and securely by PayPal invoicing.
Once you have booked a small cancellation fee (£75) will be deducted from your refund if you cancel your course up to and including 14 days prior to the start of the course once your payment has been received.
Cancellations received within 14 days of the course date are not eligible for a refund, however you may re-arrange your course for another date if you wish.
Should I need to cancel your course due to unforeseen circumstances I will refund your course fee in full.
