All tutors work are professional Jewellers who specialise in Enamelling Techniques who are willing to share their expertise and trade secrets with you by teaching in their own studios
This course is designed for those who have already mastered the basic techniques of Enamelling and would like to explore another Enamelling Technique, such as

During the course through creating samples for future reference, you select one enamelling technique to explore during the day. It is recommended to design and make a piece with enamelling in mind and the tutor can include design guidance for Enamelled Jewellery as required.
You may also arrange a course day to get help with troublesome enamelling issues with any of these particular techniques – *Refer to the note below.
Enamel is provided but sheet metals are not, YOU MUST bring your own metal (Copper, Silver or Gold), the tutor will advise what to bring.

* IMPORTANT NOTE:
If technically feasible you may bring your own work samples to work on.
Students can only enamel on their own jewellery pieces if they have been soldered with adequate amounts of hard solder
* Easy and medium solder will not hold up in the kiln, therefore it is always best to consult with the tutor beforehand regarding the suitability of your design for Enamelling during the course.
It is best to design and make a piece with enamelling in mind.

What is the course date?
All private tuition courses are arranged upon request on a date to suit you, subject to tutor availability.
We will provides some course dates for you to choose from or you can ask about a course date of day of the week preference.
About the Course Fee
Courses are priced individually because the course fee is based upon the fee a tutor charges to take a day out their industry/trade work to teach.
Enamel is included but base metal or silver is NOT included. This is because Bespoke Courses are tailored to suit individual makers needs.
You can bring your own base metal or silver, the tutor can provide guidance before the course or you can pay the tutor direct for what you use on the day.
Payment is required in advance and payments are handled safely and securely by BACS Bank Transfer invoicing (IBAN SWIFT or Paypal for International students).
Some courses are available to pay in instalments, whereby a non-refundable deposit is required to book your course date. Please ask for details if this is of interest to you.
Once you have booked a cancellation fee of *£95 will be deducted from your refund if you cancel your course up to and including 14 days prior to the start of the course once your payment has been received.
Cancellations received within 14 days of the course date are not eligible for a refund, however you may re-arrange your course for one other date if you wish.
Should we need to cancel your course due to unforeseen circumstances we will refund your course fee in full. Please note, travel and accommodation booked is not eligible for a refund/reimbursement, if you are worried about this we recommend you contact your own Insurer for advice.
* Amount is variable depending on the duration and type of the course. When you enquire, out quote reply will provide the actual cancellation amount applicable. £95 applies only to a standard one day course.
