This Tips of the Trade course has been designed to provide essential one-to-one tuition for ensuring your designs are effective, efficient, robust and suitable for rapid reproduction of any commercial jewellery related product.
You may tailor the course to suit your needs and cover areas such as:
Effective design methodology
Placement of sprues
Where to add strength
Where to reduce material to reduce costs
Technical guidance in other areas
When designing with CAD understanding the process of additive manufacturing and casting is important - with implications for the quality of the final model produced at the forefront.
This course is suitable for those who have already have some basic design knowledge of the software of interest who need to improve the quality of their design output.

A large portion of the course fee quoted is paid to the tutor. because, it’s their experience and expertise that you are paying for.
In addition a there is a small fee for arranging your course which is included in the total course fee.

For this course you'll need to request the course fee and advise what you would specifically like to learn.
We will then provide a no obligation quote for one-to-one tuition.
What is the course date?
The course date is for you to decide, subject to tutor availability.
Simply enquire about a couple of preferred course date options and I will check the tutor availability for you.
No materials are required for this course .
You will being using the tutors laptop complete with software for this course.

Practical courses are taught in the workshop of your tutor. This will give you the added benefit of seeing first-hand how they carry-out their own professional trade practise.

Lunch is not provided so you'll need to bring a packed lunch to suit your own dietary requirments.

The focus is on you
Courses are individually tailored to suit your skill level and requirements wherever technically possible and feasible in the time allowed on the day of your course, as determined by the tutor.

Choose your date
Decide when you might like your course to take place then "Make a Course Enquiry" and advise your details on the form provided.
Payment is required in advance and payments are handled safely and securely by PayPal or BACS invoicing.
Once you have booked a cancellation fee of £65 will be deducted from your refund if you cancel your course up to and including 14 days prior to the start of the course once your payment has been received.
Cancellations received within 14 days of the course date are not eligible for a refund, however you may re-arrange your course for another date if you wish.
Should I need to cancel your course due to unforeseen circumstances I will refund your course fee in full.
