Course Description
With expert tuition, this practical course is designed specially to help Jewellers who are already making Silver Jewellery and who would like to start using Gold for some of their Jewellery Designs.
This course provides practical information and guidance on the making methodology differences for confidently using Gold instead of Silver, so that you can diversify your Jewellery Collections and/or offer clients an alternative precious metal design option.

On this practical course in order to learn in context to your own designs you will be working on your own project.

You must bring along one of your simple design in silver to make in Gold or a design sketch.

Your project must be feasible to make in Gold in the tuition time frame.
Online Consultancy Option | 2x 1 Hours
If you are unable to travel we can offer a two part 2 Hour Consultancy course .

The online course content discusses the same material as the practical course above.

In part one of the course you discuss the basics and after the consultancy course you practice what you have learned at your bench.

You rearrange the second session date at the end of your first session direct with the tutor.

Part two covers issues arising after your practice and any other questions that come to light during your Bench work using Gold.

HOW ONLINE TEACHING WORKS

For this course, tuition is delivered interactively via Zoom.

You join free at Zoom.us and the tutor emails you a link to join your one-to-one course session just before the agreed start time.

What is the course date?
All private tuition courses are arranged upon request on a date to suit you, subject to tutor availability.
We will provides some course dates for you to choose from or you can ask about a course date of day of the week preference.
About Materials
Due to the tailored content of this course, in order to benefit from the tuition you MUST bring your own precious metals. Your tutor can provide guidance if required.

About the Course Fee
Courses are priced individually because the course fee is based upon the fee a tutor charges to take a day out their trade works to teach.
Booking/Payment Information
Payment is required in advance and payments are handled safely and securely by BACS Bank Transfer invoicing (IBAN SWIFT or PayPal for International students).

Instalments
Some courses are available to pay in instalments, whereby a non-refundable deposit is required to book your course date. Please ask for details if this is of interest to you.
Booking Information

Once you have booked a cancellation fee of *£95 will be deducted from your refund if you cancel your course up to and including 14 days prior to the start of the course once your payment has been received.

Cancellations received within 14 days of the course date are not eligible for a refund, however you may re-arrange your course for one other date if you wish.

Should we need to cancel your course due to unforeseen circumstances we will refund your course fee in full.
IMPORTANT Travel and accommodation booked is not eligible for a refund/reimbursement, if you are worried about this we recommend you contact your own Insurer for advice.
